This past weekend my family and I went to Marshall’s to pick up some beauty blenders for my makeup kit. I always like to browse the makeup section while I’m there to see if I find any gems.
This was my lucky day! I scored some #MORPHExJaclynHill palettes for $7.99!!! I was super stoked! I also got a few MAC lipsticks for $7.99 each.
The first Morphe palette I used was Ring the Alarm. It’s a beautiful rich red and brown, warm toned palette. Right up my alley!
I died when I saw this! It even comes with a mirror inside which is a huge plus!
Here’s a pic of the makeup look I created with it and a list of all the products at I used is below.
Who’s ready for Fall?? I have to admit I’m enjoying the last bits of Summer, but my heart is warming up for the change in scenery.
Not to mention the makeup and clothes! Fall is my favorite time of year for makeup and fashion. Here’s a new look to inspire you and to get you ready for the season.
I’m back with a Romantic Pink Makeup look using all Bellame Makeup Products. If you haven’t tried these products you are missing out! They’re infused with clinical-grade skin care and anti-aging ingredients. Since using them I have seen a significant difference in my skin!
Here is the step-by-step video on this look and check the bottom of this post for all the products used.
Did you miss me!? I know, I know… it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here. I took some time off and now I’m super excited to get back into the blogging game.
So this year has been a little crazy. Wouldn’t you agree? Amidst all the chaos of 2020, my husband and I celebrated our 12 year wedding Anniversary. If you ask me, it came at the perfect time! It fell on the weekend that our city opened back up from the Covid lockdown. Hallelujah!! Our most favorite restaurant (Larsen’s Grill) was open for business and taking reservations. So, of course it was necessary to have a much-needed dinner date night!
I love doing a full face of glam when we go out on a date. So I thought I would share the look I created. If you make it to the end you’ll also see all of the mouth watering yumminess that we ate!
Check out the video below on how-to and the products I used are listed under that.
Here’s a simple look using the Urban Decay Naked Palette 2. I seriously use this palette on a daily basis! It’s great for any special occasion and especially for weddings & school dances or events.
I used the color ‘Foxy’ to highlight my brow bone. Then the color ‘Tease’ in the crease. Apply ‘Verve’ with a damp (or wet) brush to the lid and finally ‘Blackout’ on the outer V.
Hope you like it!! Till the next one Laugh often & Love always!
I had one of my friends request a brow tutorial, so I thought I’d share it with you all as well. Follow these steps below to achieve this type of brow. I know everyone does it differently, but this is how I do mine. 🙂
1. Prime the eyebrow with an eye primer (optional)
2. Using an angled brush draw the bottom line of your brow with a brown eyeshadow
3. Draw a second line from the top of the arch down to where you’d like your brow to end
4. Connect the lines and fill in the tail of your brow
5. Draw a line on top of your brow connecting to the arch
6. Fill in the center and blend the color evenly
7. With the left over product on the brush start to fill in the front of the brow very lightly and blend the harsh lines out
8. Take a light concealer and with a flat synthetic brush draw a line directly under the brow to make it sharp and clean
9. With the same brush blend the concealer down so there is no harsh line
10. Do the same process to the top of the brow except use a concealer color that’s close to your skin tone
-voila- shaply brows!
Next up is the makeup I did with these brows. I went with a more dramatic look.
Follow these steps to create this look
1. Apply MAC ‘Whitefrost’ on brow bone
2. Blend a taupe brown just above the crease
3. Using a synthetic brush apply NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk to the lid
4. Pat on MAC ‘Electric Eel’ to the lid
5. On top of electric eel add a shimmery blue. I used Mary Kay Azure
6. Add MAC Carbon to outer V and blend into crease
7. Highlight inner corner with MAC ‘Phloof!’
8. Line upper lash line with gel liner
9. Tightline & waterline using NYX jumbo pencil in ‘Black bean’.
10. Using MAC ‘Electric Eel’ & ‘Carbon’ blend colors on lower lash line.
11. Apply fake lashes and/or mascara
Hope you like these two pictorials 🙂 Till the next one, Laugh Often and Love Always!
I hope you’re all doing fabulous 🙂 Today I’m bringing you a quick and easy look using purples and light browns.
Here are the steps to achieve the look:
1. Prime your eye with Urban Decay original primer potion
2. MAC’s eyeshadow in ‘Mancatcher’ on the inner lid
3. Mary Kay eyeshadow in ‘Iris’ on the outer V
4. Mary Kay eyeshadow in ‘Sienna’ in the crease
5. Highlight under brow and tear duct with MAC ‘Phloof!’
6. Line upper lash line with gel liner
7. Line entire bottom lash line with ‘Iris’ eyeshadow.
8. Smoke the outer lower lash line with a little bit of Mary Kay eyeshadow in ‘coal’
Hope you like it! 🙂 Till the next one Laugh often & Love always!
These past few weeks have flown by! I can’t believe we’re in March already. One of my favorite things about this month is our days get “longer” because of daylight savings time. So for me this simply means I have more time to do makeup in natural lighting 😉
Today I’m bringing to you a simple and festive eye makeup look that I did using all Mary Kay products. If you don’t have these products, you can always substitute other colors that are similar to the ones I listed. This look could be worn on any random day of the week, however I’m bringing it to you for St. Patrick’s Day. Follow the steps below to achieve this look.
Step 1: Prime the eye using your favorite primer. I used Mary Kay Eye primer. Step 2: Highlight the brow using any white shimmery eyeshadow. I used Crystalline by Mary Kay. Step 3: Apply a light green color to the inner part of the lid. I used Lime by Mary Kay. Step 4: Apply a darker green starting from the center of the lid going towards the outer lid. I used Emerald by Mary Kay. Step 5: Blend a light to medium brown in the crease (or you could intensify the look
by using a very dark brown). I used Chocolate Kiss by Mary Kay. Step 6: To add depth, lightly pat on a black eyeshadow to the outer V of the eye. I used Coal by Mary Kay. Step 7: Using your favorite liquid liner (or you could use a gel liner) line the upper lash line with a
small wing at the end. I used Mary Kay Liquid Eyeliner in Black. Step 8: Line the water line with a deep green eyeliner. I used Mary Kay eyeliner in Rich Jade. Step 9: Take that same {Emerald} eyeshadow you used in step 4 and with a smudger brush, pat and blend the
eyeshadow onto the lower lash line as close to the waterline as possible. Step 10: Apply two coats of your favorite mascara. I used Mary Kay Ultimate mascara in black.
That completes the look! It may seem like a lot of steps, but most of it is applying eyeshadow. Also, click here if you want to see which brushes I used for this look or if you’re looking for a great set of makeup brushes. I hope you find this information helpful and feel free to tag me on Instagram or Twitter @MkUpByCristina so I can see your recreation of this look 🙂
Stay tuned for my next post. It should be a nail art to go with our St. Patrick’s Day theme! Till then Laugh often & Love always!!
